6 seconds can only take you so far. At least, that’s what these Vine stars learned after they shot to fame on the app, and tried to parlay their success into fruitful careers in the rap game. More Viners than you think tried to make it big by busting a few rhymes, and while some definitely had lots of success — Jack Johnson from Jack & Jack — others flopped hard. (We’re looking at you, Dylan Dauzat.)

We loved their hilarious vines, but it’s a much different arena trying to make it within the music industry. We don’t blame them for trying, but it’s safe to say that having a hit on the radio is not such an easy thing to do.
